ANN ARBOR, MI - Freddie DeLaRosa does not remember the car crash that hospitalized him for three weeks. DeLaRosa was on a spring break trip to Cancun, Mexico with fellow University of Michigan graduate student Dipita Das and two friends at the end of February. He said he last remembers swimming underwater at an adventure park, and that the group afterward decided to take a drive to the beach to watch the sunset. DeLaRosa opted to take a nap during the 15-minute ride. His next memory was waking up in a hospital bed.
