Earlier this week, we learned that Michigan State football's regular season finale against Penn State was moving up one day to Black Friday on Nov. 24. We've now learned that in addition to playing a day sooner during college football's "Rivalry Week", the Spartans are also forgoing their final home game to host the Nittany Lions at Ford Field, home of the Detroit Lions. Michigan State athletic director Alan Haller had this to say about the schedule change in a press release on Wednesday: 'This is a unique opportunity, for both our football program and our fan base, to play a Black Friday game at Ford Field.
